Here's the story of our wedding editorial, set in Montana's Mission Mountains: a sophisticated lady escapes her high-society life to let a tiny old trapper cabin in the mountains. While she is chopping kindling for her wood stove, the neighboring rancher delivers a winter blanket he's knit for her—and they marry on the first day of spring. The feeling is all chunky knits & silk chiffon, freshly chopped wood & crystal, raw wax taper candles & pearls.
