When we first met these book-loving Air Force officers, we discovered our mutual love of Fitzgerald's Gatsby. Naturally, to design their small elopement-style wedding, we imagined the dinner party Jay Gatsby might host for his eight best friends in Montana. We incorporated the mixed metallics of the '20s, fresh-from-the-drawing-room vintage furniture, a cocktail party menu collected from a 1925 recipe book & a lemon cake like one of the twelve Nick Carraway serves at tea.
